Short.

There wasn't much to the song, but what was there was good. Solid beat and bass, The woman voice FX was a nice touch, it really made the song. Nice job, keep it up.

TVs-Slayer responds:

Yeah, a common theme in all my songs is desolation. This was the first song ever, so probably only half an hours experimentation. Glad you liked it though.

Nice.

This is a nice chilled out beat with a fuggin awesome synth to drive it. It kinda has a video game quality to it. Short but sweet nice work man.

Shootout responds:

Thanks very much!

Well.

The synth work was great. But I'm pretty sure you used a DnB loop from Fl studio. But eh...At least it wasn't though the entire song...I hate when people do that......Anyway I thought the song was pretty good man, Great work on the synths..Espically that hard bass synth in the DnB part. Keep it up.

WizardSleeve responds:

No mate i didn't use any loops. I created the beat for the DnB/Junglist bit by cutting up the famous AMEN break from the Jazz tune by Amen Brother, layering it with itself, and adding a bit of reverb. The amen break is very famous, so maybe my beat sounds like something you heard before and thats why you think its a built in loop... man if fruity had built in amen loops created from the break...

... well i'd be quite pissed off, its bad enough when people take loops off the net and say.. LOOK AT MY TUNE.. but when most of the class producers out there are doing the same what can you do...

Woo.

Beautiful intro. Great synth work. But the whole song felt just like one big build up...Like it was gonna break into some kick ass dance track, but never did. Don't get me wrong it sounded great. But it lacked the solid dance beat needed for trance. It needed the claps to be placed better, maybe place an open hat 2 steps after the kicks. Anyway, I still think it has a great sound..So I'm still giving you a well deserved 5. Nice work, I do hope you work on it more like you said...Just a bit of work and this could turn into one kick ass trance theme.

kalleha69 responds:

thx, im workin on a new piece now but i will dfeinitly come back to this, i agre the percussion was a bit lacking but as i sed ill take time to improve it later on
P.S. thx for the 5 :D

Whoa.

Quite a bit going on there. The drum work was insane heh. My only problem with the song was the bass, because it never changed. Other than that I thought it was good. I was jamming to it...Keep up the good work.

It sounded pretty good.

I'm taking a guess that you are still kind of new to this. It sounded pretty good though. It just needs more to it. Some extra synth work, some drum diversity...Just somthing to keep the listener listening. Also, adding effects to your sounds would be good. Some more reverb and EQing would really help the song out. It is pretty good though, I enjoyed it. Keep on making those tunes.

shogun666 responds:

Thanks.
I'll try to add more synth and drums in my next few songs.
And I'm not really new, I just haven't been using it as much as i would like to. FL thats is.
Cya

Well

The bass sounds like it may kill a few people in the club. But other than that it sounded pretty sweet. I liked the Guitar sounding thing...Whatever it is, I have no idea. It gave it an old school house kinda feel. The drum beat was pretty solid, and the filtered hat was a great addition. Pretty good song, nice work.

TVs-Slayer responds:

Wow, I'm surprized that people seem to like this track... I really don't see the appeal. Anyway, the riff in question is something like a guitar spliced with a duck. And the bassline was as heavy and murky as I could make it. I apologize in advance for blowing your speakers. Anyway, glad you liked it.

Hah.

Cheesy as hell, but it was great. This is a great intro song. Nice work man.

Bezo responds:

Thanks man. I accomplished my goal. :D

Not bad at all.

I gave it a minute...And I'm glad I did. The song was great, My only problem with it was the piano, I think maybe a different sample/program/patch would of been better. Maybe somthing softer? Other than that it was great, very nice drum work and the strings really gave it a nice ambient feel. Nice work on this song.

LJCoffee responds:

Thanks - I appreciate the review!

I'll give your suggestion a try - I just have to find or create the right sound to replace the piano. I think I'll remix this and post "Still under the influence" a little later. Check back in a week or so to hear the changes.

You do some really awesome work! - Very diverse -from techno and trance to hiphop and rap and then on to classical... All of it is very well composed. You're very talented!

It seems like a 10

The lead synth spits out one catchy melody... Maybe drug related? Hmmmm....
It was pretty diverse and well produced. Everything sounded great. It was... A very very happy song. I enjoyed listening to it. And the current score of 3.00 just isn't gonna work for me. So I'll try to raise it up a bit for you. Nice work on the song.

AdmiralConquistador responds:

Drug related? No, I don't do drugs. However, I can only imagine what kind of stuff I would produce if I did... and I can't write while drunk, I just make total crap. I'm not very happy with the 3, but you brought it up to 3.29. Way to go! Haha I can always count on you to give me a fair score. I'm really happy you enjoyed my song, I worked really hard on this one, and yea it was very very very happy, haha. The reason for this song is that I just met a girl and I heard the birds singing in my head, I had to put it in a song! She's an inspiration to me, not just in music :) Thanks so much for your review!
